Shopping Centers

For years our petting zoo has appeared at fairs and special events. Recently we began appearing at shopping centers where the zoo was met with such success and enthusiasm we are now devoting a greater portion of our routing to this new venue. This is a powerful promotion drawing families with children. The zoo is great for community involvement, public relations and can bring business from new families to your shopping center. This is the same attraction that appears at fairs with the addition of our colorful “moonwalk” ride and shiny, clean cotton candy and fried dough stands.

      

RECORDS & BURPEE PROVIDE

  • complete staffing 24 hours a day

  • all local, state and federal permits for an animal attraction

  • $2,000,000.00 liability insurance with any number named additional insureds

  • full cleanup and repair tent stake holes in parking lot

  • dumpster for waste

  • publicity material including ad slicks, photos, press releases

  • sign identifying and thanking sponsor for hosting the zoo

Sponsor will provide

  • water (garden hose hookup)

  • sponsor will promote event utilizing materials provided

  • space totaling approximately 60’ x 220’ (this need not be the exact measurements as the zoo can be laid out in a variety of ways)

 

We display beautiful animals and our equipment and tents are clean and colorful. Animal pens and displays are cleaned constantly throughout the day. Attendants are available to answer questions and keep the grounds litter free. Many people return several times bringing their friends and neighbors. Our operation is “inspector friendly” and meets all requirements of health, fire, building and animal control departments. There is no mess when we leave.

The zoo is free to the public and open during all store hours. A typical shopping center engagement runs Wednesday through Sunday.
